Is it possible to fit Vxr rods and pistons not oem as they are weak for 16xe turbo conversion. the rod are same length difference is the pin diameter and obvious the piston?

take a set to a proper engine builder and ask him to measure it all up and that way you know for sure.

wayne at (wpe) wacky performance engines will most likely have a go at that and hes a great guy

Personally I wouldn't take anything off the corsa vxr engine cos they are crap I had one an wouldn't buy another new vauxhall I'd stick with uprated forged parts personally

If you are going for aftermarket vxr pistons surely they will be more expensive than aftermarket x16xe ones

So buy the correct ones for your engine then if they are the same price I'm confused
