I been looking at getting a 1.4 sport next and have noticed a few common mods,
Power box
4-2-1 manifold & decat
a good stainless center and backbox
Derestricted airbox
better panel filter
im sure there is a lot more things you could do but those are the things i have seen done on a 1.4

depends on budget, most people will say put a 1.6 in, 20xe, etc, but if want a stop gap then aftermarket inlet, flat flywheel(if dont already have one fitted) and a decent panel filter. after that, exhaust system, cams, headwork etc, but the money would be better spent on a larger engine then tbh
