Bought myself a Saab 900s 96 near Christmas last year, 2l naturally aspirated, silver, BBS alloys, black grill, 3 door coupe, many people tell me it's a shitter of a motor whereas I love saabs and that won't change I'm chuffed with it! Just wanted a nosey on here to see weather there are mixed opinions or its just me that loves the old saabs

Same! Was looking for one but ended up with the 96 model naturally aspirated, and pulls really well surprisingly!

My mate just got a Saab 93 a few months ago. It's the 1.9tdi. It's not too slow at the moment but he's getting it remapped next week to about 340lbs-ft torque and 216 bhp.
I think it'll be an awesome car then.

I like Saabs but normally only of the aero variety. An N/A 900 from 19 years ago falls under the shitter category.

I looked at 93 Tdi's a bit ago, seemed to be excellent value for money

The whole point of a Saab is having a turbo and surprising "proper" cars. Crap handling unless you throw a couple of grand at it. Non turbo Saabs are pointless.
