I'm afraid the subject isn't the greatest here. It's just the test mule for my new rig.
I just got a Canon 10-22mm but unfortunately I haven't got a CPL or any ND filters yet so the exposure isn't as long as I would have liked, but I still think there is a nice sense of speed.

Very cool!
Also, I award you some BigBalls™ points for sticking an expensive camera and lens on the end of a stick, then driving around with it.

Thanks Although i'm not going as fast as you'd think. I'm actually going backwards in the 2nd picture. Engine off, in neutral just rolling back on the brake.
Still quite dodgy though. A suction cup could fail and drop everything.

Looks good! Is the camera not a bit too low though?

Nice testers, I'm eagerly awaiting to see some results from this! Was it worth the huge cost?

Does need a longer exposure, as you've already said.
Looks like you've been trying on a new editing style lately, with the warm sunset glow. And it seems to be working well for you.
Then I'm a sucker for warm photos anyway, so maybe I'm just biased.
Looking forward to a cleaner subject though.

What's stuck on between the rear light and fuel cap?

LPG hole Alex.
Look good for testers, look forward to seeing some proper pics! Angle is weird on the top one imo.

Indeed it is for LPG.
Here's another practice shot I took outside my house tonight...

Could you share the pics before the rig has been edited out? Just interested to see how much airbrushing is needed to tidy the pics up

Sure. Here are a few of how the rig is attached and the original before any processing.

The edit above is nice, if anything its the composition that lets it down. It's not horizontal and doesn't look intentionally slanted, given the angle (though I'm sure not much attention was given to this since it's a test shot)! Is the sky photoshopped in? I noticed in another thread you would like to become a magazine photographer. You could save a lot of time, and potentially improve your shots with an ND grad.

Need to do one with the focus or something, or are they worried you'll put their windscreen through?

No, it's just not been out the garage all winter so we haven't had the opportunity to rig it.
I've got a Ferrari 360 Spider booked in for a shoot on Saturday evening, so that'll be the first nice thing the rig gets used on.

just get some welding glass dude, it acts as a 10stop filter and will give you some cracking results if you master the WB
