It doesn't seem to drink that much juice considering i have been ragging it around everywhere. If i kill it then Peugeot should fix it anyway as i got 12 months warranty with it; although i don't seem to be able to get in touch with the gorgeous bird (Sales person) who sold me it to get the work finished they promised. Hmm. These Peugeot 106s are a good starter car as they are quite nippy and also the insurance isn't too bad. I’m thinking of saving up and buying a new 307 next year and trading this one in. That way i shouldn't lose that much on it. I just need to build up some no claims first.

Huh? They are sexy!!! I like them. Some bird i know has got a 2.2 diesel estate version in a nice blue colour. I told my Dad to get one as he's trading in his 306 in soon but he's after the 807. I'm trying to get him to change his mind.

What the f**k happened to the brakes and clutch on the Micras? I'm not talking about the new shape but the one before that. They are really soft. Before i passed my driving test a couple of years ago, my mate let me have a go of his Mum’s. I was actually scared, it just didn't feel right.

Anyone got any ideas of what i can do the my Peugeot 106 as it has loads of power until you hit around 30 MPH. I was trying to switch lanes today but a transit van had me off. I just floored the gas pedal in 3rd gear but nothing happened and the van just laughed at me and flew past. The gap was well big enough too but i just couldn't get the power to jump in it.

Most cars should be quick from 0-30 - If it isn't then I'd worry! Nothing you can do to a 1.1 - not worth wasting money on induction kits etc all they'll do is drink more petrol and sound like a hair dryer. The 1.1 106 isn't bad for an 1100 they go fairly well (for what they are) so I'd leave it and build a ncb
