Clearly wants a change, it would be good for United as well but they have to say he's not for sale to obtain the best price for him which they no doubt will do once a few of the big boys are in the mix.

He hasn't been shit though. People just like to slate him. He doesn't play as far forward and when used in midfield and holding he has been decent. He's not the same player they bought all those years ago, he's changing.


This. I can't remember seeing him play as a forward this season He has done whatever Fergie asks of him and gives his all. I'm not sure RVP would look great as a holding midfielder.

He has made a few sloppy passes, but also a few brilliant ones. His range of passing is taken for granted as people forget he's a striker He hasn't been at his very best the past couple of months, but he hasn't been bad either. I'd want to leave too if people said I played shit without even considering I've been forced to play in so many positions, that aren't even my best. Players leave clubs for less, but he's just got on with it.
