anyone know if you can change the grilles on a gti bumper to a plain one? again, asking for a met but hes got his eye on a nice diesel but its got a gti bumper and he doesnt want the red detail. can you get rid of it without painting it or changing the whole bumper?

grilles do come off seperately, but im not sure if the grilles are the same size if you get me..

Yes, mates just changed his GTD grills for GTI, straight swap.
