Would the shocks off my 1.4 SXi be different to those on a 1.2 SXi?
I sold my mate my old front and rears with 40mm springs on, and he says the rears don't fit. (Fronts fit fine)
Did they make more than 1 kind? My car is a '53 (Post) and I think his a '55.

Some have a bigger hole at the bottom. Mostly SRI's.

Hmm but neither mine or his are SRi's. He said something about the hole being bigger. But still, why did they fit mine and not his?

They list it as sport suspension, the rear beams look different. The small bolt one looks like a Corsa B's beam, and the sport one looks like this.

Yours will have the M14 rear bolt with it being a 1.4, and his will be M10 with it being a 1.2.
All he needs is a reducer sleeve to fit them. If you message BGAutotech on Facebook, Ben should be able to sort you/your mate out with the reducers he needs.

I bought some new rear shocks instead. I guess I could flog these ones on Ebay. Does anyone know the exact name for them so I can list them? And how much they are worth? (possibly just send me a link to ones that are online)
