What's your prediction before the verdict is out (which was due at 11am!)?

I predict media storm in a teacup and nothing will come of it.

There it is.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/22999260

Mercedes have been banned from this year's young driver test and received a reprimand for taking part in a controversial Pirelli tyre test.
Pirelli has also been reprimanded for its role in Mercedes running a 2013 car at the three-day test in Spain last month contrary to Formula 1's rules.
The decision appears to be an attempt to cancel out any advantage from taking part in the test.
The young driver test runs for three days at Silverstone from 17-19 July.

And all the chat is in the f1 thread.

I hope they do. They'll get fucked over for it.The rules are clear now, the only reason Merc didnt get punished was because the FIA dun goofed by parts of their staff saying it was ok.

Finally Whiting has come out in the mainstream press exposed as a bit of a mong. His "advice" has caused god knows how many technical rows recently, he seems to be losing his touch with F1 regs.
