Im off abroad to Spain on weds with a mate.

We have another mate that wants to come along. There is flights available but no more rooms.


Do you think if he books a flight, and we get to the hotel, if he pays them some money there they're likely to let him stay, even if it's a lilo on the floor?

I have tried speaking to the travel agent but they're not back in till monday now, and he wants to make sure he gets the same flight etc... Rang the hotel but they do not speak English.

Anyone know of anyone whose done this before? I know it's a risk to take but..

Just get him to go. Don't tell the hotel and let him crash on the floor anyway. Just make sure you pack his shit away before room service arrives

Can you not email the hotel using a translator? Just a simple email?

The thing is though we're all inclusive so will be spending a lot of the time at the hotel, especially for breakfast and lunch...

Just not sure if he tells them he's going to sleep on the floor and sorts them out 100 for the 4 days we're there they will give him a band.

Good question. I will give this a go but i'm sure they'll take forever to reply, don't want the flights to get taken up

Is the whole place all inclusive? Most hotels are going that way now, and he will stick out like a sore thumb if he doesn't have a band.

A little more tricky but they might issue a band for him. It's extra money for them and they may even have a last minute cancellation on a room. I'd punt it anyway. He may be able to stay nearby if not etc...

Yeah good point.

I just think of it as more money for them, plus he's sleeping on the floor so it doesn't add extra cost to them.

I know the dodgy spanish would take an extra 100 to give someone a band for 4 days.
