Basically trying to watch an online lecture (embedded mp4 video) off open tuition site on tablet (went nexus 7) however keeping getting error 404 messages, video works fine on PC but not on tablet any idea what I need to install on tablet to get them to work?

The HTTP 404 error means that the webpage you were trying to load was not found.
Are you sure you've got the right address?
You may have copied and pasted the link with a character missing (or a leading or trailing space) or simply mistyped.
If you're sure you've got the right link, try clearing your browser's cache or trying a different browser.

Another possibilty, although a slim one I guess, is that it's redirecting to mobile site and it's not present. Check the URL doesn't change and request desktop site.

Tried the request desktop site and still getting the error, address wise I'm not typing it in just going through the site to them, will check tonight to see if there are any differences in the address itself.

Try firefox browser instead of chrome

yeah it wont open it when its on the tablet but on the pc it is fine, may email the site to see if they will be making it tablet friendly.
unless anyone knows of a way to make the site think the tablet is a pc?

Turns out that if I use puffin browser it works.

Because from the looks of things it requests desktop view as default.
