I want to put movies and kids TV shows onto it for a flight, anywhere I can download them through the nexus? I can plug it into a laptop too.

Personally i wouldn't Torrent on the device (there are better torrent clients for Android anyway), it'll zap battery for starters. Rather i'd head to Icefilms.info and download from one of the sites (be quicker too).

Pirate bay has been blocked by most ISPs.

Try torrentz.eu or isohunt. I have a Nexus 7 if you ever need a hand.

Also download "Real Racing 3" its boss

Nothing wrong with utorrent either, use it almost daily on my phone.
