Hi Folks

My colleague's son has just had his Astra vxr's gearbox go pop. He has been quoted 2k+ for replacing and fitting.

He is located in Aberdeen.

Is there any specialists on this around Aberdeen that could get the price down from 2k+ ?

£2k is very expensive. I paid £1360 to have mine done at a place in Stirling. Who was the quote with???

Depends if 2k is to repair current box or replace with brand new oe item. Sure trade price from Vauxhall was 1100 for an m32

These guys are not local www.halifaxgearboxnclutchcentre.co.uk they upgrade a few parts which are prone to going on the gb 01422 384444
