These are the 997.2 GT3 RS. Not the 991.

The 4.0 is what he really wants, but there are NONE for sale in this country.

If your Dad is serious about a 4.0 and you're not just willy waving, which the poll kinda suggests (yes, I know your dads current garage) then why not speak to a specialist in the field, Tom Hartley, Elms, SCOM etc as I'm sure they could find one for sale or will at least know owners rather than you looking for one for him?

What's more mental is a potential £40k + return for the chap who purchased it and hasn't used it!

Jesus I never realised there were only 26 RHD 4.0 GT3 RS's in the UK Guess the one I work on will probably the only one (and it's the only 1 in the UK in this particular colour )

Blue & Gold combo as cool as it is does seem to be mega rare on the 3.8's. I think in some ways colour may have to come last, and let condition & spec prioritise your Dad's purchase!

He's serious about spending some cash to get him a new car which won't lose him too much money.
The 4.0RS is obviously more than he'd like to spend, but considering the potential investment then I don't think he'd be adverse to it.
There is no willy waving here.

I'm beginning to think that too, hence the colour option poll, but because he wants PCCB, and he thinks it looks daft behind red wheels then I think he'll stick to his guns and wait until the right car comes along.

That 4.0 RS has been sold, but I did find a white/gold one on the same site. Just a shame it doesn't have ceramics or the nose lift kit.
