Just about to send my phone off, and the company said iCloud has to be removed... I completely reset the phone of everything, so am I right to assume I'm now not on iCloud? I also went to icloud.com to try and take myself off, but it says 'set up icloud' so is all okay, you think, and iCloud isn't on my iPhone any more?

IIRC iCloud requires an email address to work so as long as you haven't set the phone up after resetting it, you should be fine. You can't uninstall it AFAIK

If you've reset it, then iCloud's gone.
Liam, you can go to iCloud settings and delete the account. Gives you the option to keep or delete all local content.

If its on iOS7 you should turn off find my iphone in icloud settings if its turned on. If you leave it turned on and reset the phone, when it comes to activation it wont activate until you have entered the correct email address and password for your icloud account....

Cheers all. Think I sorted it. The company I sold it to put me in a panic at the end. Seemed to of deleted absolutely everything from the phone.

As james says. You can no longer just blank the phone and send it off due to the extra security they have added in ios7
You need to make sure that find my phone is disabled otherwise they won't be able to reuse the phone without your password
