Right so driving the other day quote happily then all of a sudden I get smoke coming from bonnet and a strong smell of oil.
Pull over and pop bonnet, looks like oil has leaked from the filler cap and dripped on to manifold 
Cleaned it all up and topped oil up and was done for about 20 mins then again . Having to wrap a rag around filler cap to stop it leaking on to manifold
Any ideas of what can cause this?

there is a seal under the cap that will need replacing , only a few £ from vauxhall

Sounds like a common fault as mines the same, rattles like mad but hasn't come loose yet. New caps aint much on ebay.

Back pressure can cause this, if it's not the seal.
