Both my younger brothers are SFA coaches, both coach youth teams. Really young age groups though. Think maybe Under 8's and Under 10's or something.

I Manage and Coach an Under 13's team, as well as help an under 10's team, plus coach community football.
Our entire club has about 20 youth teams.
The team I manage is new this year, the players came from the community side, they are now too old to play for the community.
As we said, they are a group of lads who want to play football, they are not footballers yet.
They have had a rocky start, won 1 in the league and lost two, by huge margins.
They are not a bad team, however the confidence is the biggest problem.
They beat a team two leagues above when they were in good spirits, lost to an easy team 12-3 because they felt a bit down.
Game this weekend should be a good one, against similar opposition.

Brilliant Spencer, my dad took this side on 4 seasons ago because my nephew played for them, unfortunately the coach at the time had never played football and didn't have a clue so had a decent core of players who had no specifc roles so were clueless when it came to games (as was the coach)
So in 3 seasons they've gone from whipping boys & girls to cup winners.
My step son joined last season from division 1 team, a fantastic talent and they finished 3rd in Division 4 scoring 90 or so goals Brad got 42 and the other striker Shaun 37.
Biggest achievement last year was winning the plate final against Division 2 opposition winning 2-0.
This season because of how we finished the year we got promoted 2 divisions, we are 4 games in and having lost Shaun before the first game due to dislocating his collarbone in training we have won 2 and lost 2. Last weekends game we were 4-1 down at half time going on to win 6-5 with a last minute bullet header from a corner delivered by Brad, real Roy of the Rovers stuff they were ecstatic at the final whistle.
Every game I'll write a preview and a review and a quick rundown of the players in the squad, be good to keep a log of it somewhere seeing as I'm officially now on the coaching staff

Ideal 
Our team is more focused on 'fun', we have 3 other teams in the age group, going from our fun, up to the completely serious no fun group.

Our club is focused on making sure everyone gets the opportunity to play football but they are secondary school age now so it's being taken a bit more seriously, we lost a girl last season to Oxfords academy (girls teams better than men's)

Won 4-2 was 2-0 down at half time, no pressure first half nobody doing anything standing around waiting for the ball to roll to their feet.
Second half pressure and movement applied, 4 goals scored no goals conceded.
Up to mid point in league which is where they want to be
