At that age now that I think it should be a bit cheaper then it is..

24, driving 7 years with 6 years no claims.

My previous price with my insurer (elephant) was £460, my insurance renewal is £497 with one more years ncbs :/

I drive a daily astra dti mk4 estate (insurance group 5)

Just seems a bit much, any ideas on some insurers I could try out as my insurance is up in 2 hours

All sorted, got to be the most helpful guy (or girl) I've spoken to from insurance companies.

£0 voluntary excess

Added some more cover due to theft and a conversation with his manager (been with them 3 years) so loyalty discount brought it to £397

Chuffed!

Did you compare from other providers? The renewal that comes through the post is always a con. God knows how many just pay up when they get the renewal.

They always try it on every year with the renewals. Admiral/elephant are terrible for this.

I just go onto their online quote form, fill it out as if I was a new customer then ring up and tell them. They always honour it and feed me some bullshit about how the renewal price is automatically generated and can't be helped.
