I know there isn't going to be a new M3, and I'm a bit confused on what the new one is going to be called. Either way, I saw these images on PistonHeads, and tbh think it looks awesome whatever it is, whatcha reckon?





I know they're not real images, but just realised the first image has a splitter on, and the second one doesn't... not sure what's going on there.

No sure what's so difficult to grasp here?

That's a render of an M2, a 2 series, so basically a 1 series coupe.

The M4 is the 3 series coupe M model.

There will be an M3 but it's saloon only.

headlights are shite on the blue one

actually there is so much different, the fuel flap is now round, wing vent is lame, bumper is old style

Blue one, although nice, looks a bit boring. Almost like it's an Msport version that all the pretenders will buy then tell their mates it's an ///M because it has the badges on the doorsill plates.

That looks bloody brilliant. I would hope that would be what the next M3 looks like. But what's all this 'no M3' lark? How on earth can you have no M3?

Worst name ever. Sounds like a shit motorway where you get banned for minor speed limit infractions.

And only building the M3 as a four door, is an offence that should be punishable by death.
