i actually do think avb could be in a modicum of trouble tbh. when you start to discard decent players you signed yourself, it smacks of poor judgement... how long til he begins to rpelace players he just signed?

His outburst in the press the other day was shocking, he hasnt a clue how to deal with the press, or anything when things are going wrong, I said this right from the start

I actually agree with you here, hes not playing it very well. But more concerning was when he attacked the Spurs fans themselves, thats a stupid move for any manager to make, any slack they would've cut him during a bad period just got wiped out by slating your fan base. I dont care what amount of noise the fans make, I'd be constantly praising them.

I've always found with York managers that the ones who praise the crowd and thank them for their support last longest. Foyle achieved quite a bit under us but always gave the fans the cold shoulder, and therefore the second things turned, so did the fans. Mills on the other hand always praised us, thanked us, came over after every game and applauded us, said how much he loved the city and that meant when results werent the best, the fans, mostly stayed on his side.

Obviously theres much more important things to do to keep your job than just keeping the fans onside best you can, but why make it harder for yourself, its hard enough to survive for any period of time as it is.
