Ex demos are always worth looking out for.

I saved some 30% on my floor standers as they were ex demo. Also gives the benefit of the speakers already being somewhat broken in.

Second hand market makes perfect sense, when it comes to speakers.

Whenever I get around to finding some speakers for my stereo setup, there's not much chance they'll not be second hand.

Preferably something pre 1970 to match my receiver.

We've had all kinds of bribery documents through recently from suppliers asking us not to send them or any of their employees gifts, particularly at Christmas as it could be deemed to be a bribe.

These are all from other members of staff.

We had the same shit about bribes so cannot accept anything from external suppliers.

Yup, those are the ones.

Wouldn't feel safe buying something that old without seeing it in person. Bound to be expensive to repair.
