Tried to fit my new brakes today, but the bracket adapter I was supplied with fails on the original caliper bracket like so
Am I doing something wrong?
Brackets were fitted like this when I received, bu obviously caliper won't slide into position as you can see

Did they come off a corsa/vauxhall? Might need new brackets making

Yeah, was from a
Member on here. He was breaking his car, and they've been on a few corsa's.
Think I've found the issue now.
Brake disc isn't going fully onto the hub probably due to clearances.
Measured brake disc centre bore is around .40mm smaller than corsa one. So hopefully cleaning it up
Will make t ok

I had this once before but I had big block conversion hubs turned out they were the issue they sat differently and my v6 brakes wouldn't fit
Hopefully you got it sorted
