I have an issue with my central heating. It seems that whenever the heating comes on, it comes on at full blast, i.e. it seems to be ignoring the temperature set on the thermostat.
I intend to get a plumber out to look at it, but wondered if CS had any suggestions?
Thanks.

Yeh that would be my guess, hopefully that's the case as presumably that's a fairly cheap fix.

Does it come on if you've turned the temp down?

Nope, the boiler only comes on when expected, which rules out the room thermostat, which I previously thought it was.
Apparently it might be the boiler stat, I have a guy coming to look at it next Wednesday.

Turn the heating water temp down on the boiler itself, mines set to about half way if it's a combi that is

But I've never touched anything on the boiler, so why would it just start happening randomly?
