Ok, so I'm planning to do some 'puddle lights' on the corsa, gonna have lights in the lower door pockets that I ant to come on when the doors open. Obviously I'm gonna run the wiring through the twist lock connector in the door jam so I was wondering If I could get away with picking up power in the actual door and only running one wire through to the door switches. Not too sure where I can tap in for the wiring. Cheers lads.

You should only need one wire I to the door anyway. Negative comes from the chassis

Would work if you ran the wire through the door and up through the a-pillar to the interior light and take the live feed from there??

Sure there are earths in the loom also.

Are you going to switch from the interior light circuit? If so then yeah, get it in the pillar and run the single switched live through each jam.

Ah yeah, so I can tap in to the actual switch loom and run that through the door to the light, then earth in the door somewhere? Would probably help if I actually had a look . Hopefully now the weathers getting better I can get out there and get on it.
