I know a few of you guys live in and around Oxford so I thought I'd share the footage I captured at the demolition of Didcot A this morning, unfortunately the light was very low at 5am so its a bit grainy but its still pretty interesting to watch

It was a bloody long wait! The roads closed at 2330 so you had to be in before then and the window for the detonation was 0300 to 0600 and after that you had to wait for the main roads to open again before you could leave.

They give a 15 minute and a 10 minute warning, then just before detonation they also set of some small explosions to scare off the wild life so there was plenty of warning

To be safe I set a 10 minute timer at the first warning so I was only buzzing about for 5 minutes before it went down.

Is that like a tenuous link or its more boring alternative?

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.
