Hi all. What would cause the rev gauge to flicker on tickover? Engine is an XE.

nah the engine sits at normal tickover. I got told over on PNG that it could be the Crank sensor. So got one from AutoVaux. Fitted it and car wouldn't start. Stuck the old one back in and it started first time.
