I have been given a Netgear N900 Router (wndr4500) which I will use to replace my BT HH5. Not for any reason other than I figure it will be a better router than the HH.
As this does not have a built in ADSL modem, does anyone have any recommendations?
There seem to be two main options:
DrayTek Vigor 120

TP-Link TD 8817

The DrayTek is £55 and the TP Link is £13.
Any real advantages of one over the other?
My internet line is a BT ADSL running at about 10-12MB/s

Draytek; you can get the 120 off eBay for £10-20

Draytek all day long. TP-links are cheap for a reason.

Will go for the DrayTek, not seen any that cheap on eBay though!
I have a £20 amazon voucher so might just get it from there

I havent had a TP link router /modem but I have got a TP Link wifi dongle for main PC which has worked flawlessly with bog standard windows software for the last 5 years
Certainly much more reliable than the Belkin adapter it replaced
