Myself and a few friends are heading to London later this month to watch the NFL on the Sunday. However we arrive in London on the Saturday afternoon so will be looking to head out for some drinks.
Problem is we have no idea on where to go, the only place we are going to at the moment is the Brewdog bar in Camden but after that we don't know any places.
Any chance people can give me some ideas for good pubs/bars etc

If you like ale's then try The Rake at London Bridge/Borough Market, Euston Tap at Euston and Bavarian Beerhouse near Fenchurch Street/Tower Hill. The pubs owned by The Yummy Pub Co are also pretty decent.
Cocktails then personally i recommend Covent Garden Cocktail Club venues, really good cocktails and you can't go wrong with when it's happy hour 2-4-1 - just note that you need to sign up for membership off the website which costs a quid (you pay at the door and get a card).
Tbf, you can't really go wrong with Camden, Covent or the Southbank but it depends what you're after i guess.

All depends what your after and how much you want to spend. Absolutely plenty about. I usually stick to the city or Shoreditch in your into "decent" beer.

Brewdog isn't all that, went to the one in camden the other weekend, over priced bollocks imo. If you enjoy overpriced drinks also be sure to check out the Blues Kitchen in camden, they have live music in there on weekends too.

We arrive too late for the Trafalgar Square things so was looking for things for the evening. Like I say we are heading to Brewdog in Camden first and didn't know if anyone had anything to recommend after that.

If you're looking to get some food then Bodeans is a good shout; there's one near Oxford street.
Great pulled pork and American sports on TV. We've got tickets to the NFL game and will probably head there afterwards for food.

The Hawley Arms on the other end of the high street is good fun.

I'd just hang about in Camden. Last thing want to do when out drinking is strt looking for places and travelling to get to them, when there's 10+ pubs withinf a mile or so.
Just have to put up with disckheads all trying to be unique and different to get attention

Camden is good but touristy, Upper Street in Islington is fun, Shoreditch is always good, Clapham and Brixton have their charms. Anywhere, basically.
If you're going to the brewdog inc amden then make sure you go to the camden eye by the station, one of my favourite pubs in london and do exquisite pizza. world end on the other side is worth a visit then head up chalk farm road and try anything you like, lock 17 is an ok-ish place to end the night, as is ELectric Ballroom if theyre doign a disco
