Tax payer replies piss me off. Just because it cost £123m doesn't meant the £123m is gone - its been paid to American companies who in turn are paying American wages and probably buying American materials.
That's one thing the Americans do fairly well - recycle tax dollars.
Unlike most infrastructure projects over here in which UK revenue disappears abroad.
