Dropped my Nexus4 today and crscked the front screen, no real problem as ive got a new pbone anyway, however, everyone was using that number as i'll be transferring it to my new phone in a week or two, so ive now got a few messages on there that i cant access because the screen wont work.
Is there anyway i can forward all incoming to my new number without being able to access the phone? Will connecting to PC be any use?

Why not get a new lcd for the Nexus then get what you want and sell it on?

It'll cost me £40 or so to fix the screen myself, the rear is also cracked... So it's not really worth the effort to get it fixed up

I dont know if google have any desktop utilities like Samsung.
I had a friend kill her screen on her S4 recently, managed to get Samsung Kies to pick up the device anyway and backed up all the photoes, contacts and messages and restored them to her new device.
