wanting an old silver ghetto blaster to put into my kitchen. needing one with an aux in put, or even one that doesnt work i guess as i could remove the internals and mount a bluetooth speaker.

I recently converted an vintage style CD Juke box to Bluetooth, the CD player was fucked so I bought a Bluetooth audio module from china for £2.50 and connected it up to the audio output from the CD mech..

Works a treat!

Its got a USB connector but its only for power (+5v) I removed the PCB and unsoldered the USB connector and the 3.5mm jack.. Then directly soldered it inside the juke box.

My old Sony is quite late (1986/87) so is black rather than silver and doesn't have the same charm, but because it's late, it has L&R phonos on the back.

So I can play ipod/iphone stuff through it with a cheap 3.5mm headphone jack to phonos lead.

I'd be checking charity shops and ebay for similar Nic.

A brand new pseudo 'box' will just make you look and feel like a hipster and leave you disappointed.

Saw those in a shop a couple of years or so ago.

Do they come with speaker covers?
