Also doubt you'd get more than 2/3 weeks inside

Course. I got caught on the M6? 62 in a 50, done speed awareness course.

Was it one of those variable speed cameras that got you?

I doubt they work. I went through them at 70 in my corsa a few times never heard fuck all

They do as thats how I got caught.

About 6 months after I did the course, there was a big story on bbc news about the numbers not being of standard size, so the 5 looked like a 6.

I'm still adamant I was doing 62 because I thought it said 60.

I dont think so mate, think there might have been workmen in road or summin and 40mph sign was up, im guessing i thought 50 would be fine, will 100% slow down to advertised speed limit now even if it annoys fellow motorists

I got caught doing 43 in a 30 and got the course.
You'll either get that or 3 points and a fine.

I just got caught at 40 in a 30 and they said I would get to do a speed awareness course. They told me anything up to 43 in a 30 would be offered the course.

36 in a 30 and didn't get the course. Probably cause I've already done it once. They done offer it more than once in 3 years I think. It was bullshit. Rather take the fine and points than a day off work been bored stiff.
