Sold my exhaust to someone that lives in Greece, what's the best way of wrapping it up and sending it over? Surely someone's done similar.

Awaits silly answers from the usual clowns

Wrap it well and book a delivery, mostly.

I use Parcelmonkey and usually end up with Parcelforce which I can take to the depot so I'm not waiting in.

Check the dimensions and if it will split up you're probably better putting the parts along side instead of having one long thing.

For actual packing bubble wrap is OK but for sharp things I usually use offcuts of EVA foam sheet which I steal out of the bins of an orthopaedic shoe manufacturer.

sold many of a part and posted to greece,

far less messers than all the dreamers in the uk,

just wrapped it like i normally would,
as i do usually go over board then post with who ever gives me the best quote,

never had an issue, and theyve always been willing to cough up for postage,
sent steering racks/clutches/inlet manifolds/exhaust manifolds and even a gearbox,

had less hassle then selling a set of car mats over here.

This is why greece went bust, people spending all their money on second hand car exhausts and shipping them over from the uk.

In Greece, this is the equivalent of overnight parts from Japan.

Regularly buy parts from abroad, not sure why you would be worried to send them the other way

Used Parcel2go to get quotes, used tnt alot as they pop into work daily so was easy to have them picked up.

I always tried to Google map their houses first as well lol, once one was a tiny cottage on the side of a hill with no a road going to it lol!

We use TNT for all Greek deliveries, struggle with Dangerous Goods but had no issues with standard deliveries.
