I was fortunate enough to have an i8 for a few days last week and a couple more days this week.
I was never much of a fan to begin with. Probably mainly because I didn't know what they were like.
With 350 bhp didn't sound like it would be anything special, but after doing about 600 miles in one I've actually fallen in love.
I've been in a lot of nice cars, but nothing turns heads quite like the i8. I had people filming it as I was driving by, people staring at it when I open the door and drivers speeding to catch up to me to get a closer look on the A90.
The noise you get from the 1.5 3 cylinder is amazing too. I don't even care if it's enhanced through the speakers. It's like a girl with make up. As long as they keep the make up on, it's fine.
Seriously contemplating sacking off the house fund to buy one, but I suspect they'll be like iPhones. A new one will be out before you know it with better technology and more gadgets which will make the "current" one seem a little "old hat".
Anyway, here are a few pics I took...

Don't think you need me to say they're good photos
Looks good. Bit too quirky for me I think, but they've certainly got road presence. Terrible wheels though, like most modern cars.

The carbon tub on these is amazing, I have seen one stripped down
My only problem with them is the rear, looks like it is shitting out a 911
