Kicked the staff out at 1pm.
I'm on call for the next 11 days. Hopefully spend some time with my family.

Moved our cars up close on the drive to allow visitors to get on the front over the Christmas period. Don't plan on going very far until the new year.

My favourite day of the year.

Star wars at the cinema, Shops and running round this morning/ afternoon. Filled the cars up with diesel and cooked a gammon joint in the slow cooker. Watched elf.

Glazed with honey and mustard and just had hot gammon rolls for dinner. A bit of a tradition in my house on Christmas Eve.

Having a few beers now. Need to wrap the missus presents in a bit

Presents wrapped, settling the kids ready for bed soon shortly before relaxing and putting my feet up.
Don't feel the urge to go out and get wasted, done that plenty of times 15+ years ago.
Much more content with a quiet night in now

Need to try and convince the misses to watch the hateful eight tonight..... I don't fancy my chances

Went home to finish wrapping presents (somehow still haven't finished) then off to see my girlfriend's mum's new dog... so damn cute, and I'm not even a dog person.

Now at my mums with a cuppa listening to Rinse FM Christmas Eve special.

Alcohol comes Boxing Day this year
