Why do I modify... because driving a standard car, no matter what it is, feels horrible to me. Maybe a bit deep lol but I feel like it takes my personality away. I like to have a personal touch on it and make it different from the boggo standard shit 99% of people drive around, *yawn*

Why did I get into them... well I live in Southend so was exposed to many loud exhausts blazing down the seafront when I was an early teenager. Then had a go in my first girlfriend's brother's modded R5 GTT and I was hooked!

I used to sit at the back of geography lessons with my mate drawing pictures of boot builds we wanted

He ended up spending £1,500 on setup with those square subs. It cut out all the time and sounded pretty bad.

anyone can by a standard car.
i like to put something into a car to make it a bit different.
be it a sound system or engine swap or some body kit.
both my uncles used to modify cars for more power back in the late 50's to 60's, mostly vauxhalls.
