Just tried out my new subs and in total in one car park i set off 17 car alarms ranging from golfs to an x5 bmw was well impressed

2 15" type r's
2 10" type rs in pass footwell
2 mrd1000 amps ( changed from 500 series)
rest is all type r comps mids etc

but its all being changed to fusion lomu stuff

2 lomu mono amps
1 lomu 4 channel amp
2 sets of lomu 6.5 comps
1 set of 5" lomu comps
2 10" power plant subs
1 2 channel power plant amp

should be a hell of alot louder

hmmmm, im gonna have to get mine sorted quick, else i'll be laggin behind everyone! Always need to be at the forfront of the SPL scene on here, not been very succesful just lately though

i'm a little suspect of your claim to 17, i mean, when i do it, the best ive had is 5, and i didnt hear all of them, my mate was behind me counting!

some funny looks were being flung when the alarms started but the amount of people that actually relised wot i was trying to do well lets just say there was a crowd at 1 point telling me which car to set off

multi storey car park mate so much fun when attepting it, wot u hitting spl wise? im not actually in it for spl anymore ive built the car for show use just happened to have it out today shes in revs this month with her orginal install before the new 1000 amps and the footwell enclosure, oh and the subs are the right way around now

146.2 is my best, but only running 1/2 power i should be. So over the next 6 months or so, will be getting a 120A alternator, concrete sound deadening, 3 yellow tops, 4400RMS @1ohm amp and 4 Kicker 15"squareL7's. Should then be hitting 155's.

At the mo im running 1200RMS into 2 S15L7's.

nice, currently well now the car has a light concreate layer on floor and abprox 110 sq ft of sound deading in it pritty ott i know but hey it has to be done right hopefully and this is hopefully i should i theory hit high 150s close to 160 wit the new install but hey i want clarity as well as bass

You'll need the power there for the amos aswell though mate, hence why im gonna have three yellow tops for the ICE, standard battery under the bonnet and a 120A alternator. Doubt very much youll get close to 160's, there simply not enough umph behind the system to get those sorts of levels. Bearing in mind, you're gonna have 389.75 square inches less cone surface area and about 2/3 the RMS power of my system, and im hoping for 155's. Think yours will be more close to 150 legal, maybe 155 outlaw.

knowing for a fact that the same system used in another comp car, is hitting 162 using 3 exide deep cycle batts and im using 4 well 5 if u count hydralics, pluss a 120a alt like urs and 6dig power caps i think it'l be close to the 160 too
