spend 3.5k on a nice GSI, save up and get some nice wheels, lower it, new exhaust and new rear lights then leave it

Depends on ur age and if uve gotta have insurance friendly car - Ive been fairly impressed by the 1.4 16v sport - the later the model the betetr cause they were stacked with extras - well compared to a 1.2 ls

judging by your date of birth and insurance i think a well specced 1.0 12v or 1.2 16v would be your best bet - like a GLS model or sumin.

I would go for the 1.4 16v, insurance wise the first year in ur own name u'll get raped, second year isnt too bad, and the third year - is only £25 more than a 1.2 8v
I hate the 1.2 its vastly underpowered and came with foOK all extras, the 1.4 16v sport in most cases came with full electrics, e/m e/w airbags, sunroof and darker interior trim.
I had a quote and tbh, the insurance would never have been more than £200 or so more in the first year neway - however Im stuck with the 1.2 8v
