Right i have bee painting my boot lid, its been rubbed down, primed, rubbed down and i have been building up the coats and rubbing them down with 1200 W&D it is almost time for the top coat which i will do on thursday. Can anyone give me step by step instructions to achieving a good finish from spraying the top coat to polishing. I have rubbing compound assorted W&D paper and polish.

Using Spray Cans???
A good finish is possible, but its gonna need ALOT of cans, and alot of T-cuttin/polishing.

yeah halfords cans, should i get a buffer attatchment for my drill, will that help with the t-cutting?

erm, ive found its always best by hand mate, as u dont wanna over do-it on the t cut and end up takin layers of paint off!!
