Program abt extreme medical cases/operations, was a piece on Beck Weathers who scaled Everest. He got frost bit on his hands and nose, his right hand had turned black and was completely hard. Was left for dead by the rescue team but woke up and was airlifted to hospital. He had his right hand left fingers and nose amputated. They grew him a new nose on his forehead following an ancient indian method. After one month the nose was cut and turned down from his forehead and put in place of where his nose was. He could feel his forehead when he scratched it until the nerves were changed. He now continues to works as a scientist @ his old job.
just thought it was interesting so thought id post up about it.
