after i took my sub and amp out the boot yesterday, the engine electronics light comes on when i drive over some bumps, it has to rattle the car a bit for it to come on, when it comes on my cd player turns off for the 1 sec its on, then it resumes where it was playing, i'v had a look in my vauxhall manuel and it says "If the control indicator lights up briefly and then goes out again this is of no significance", but i'm a bit worried...

Dont know if its any help but mine came on when i was stationary then went off when driving and it turned out to be the stepper motor.

maybe you're power cable for the amp is touching bear metal when going over bumps?
could be causing some problem with your electrics
