and done 31K miles. spent aprox £3800 on petrol

changed the oil and filter, spark plugs 7 times

on my 3rd set of tyres on the front, same new ones on the rear ( changed when I got the car). replaced teh wipers 3 times at the front and once on the rear. had the tracking done 3 times soon to be 4th.

done around the same milage in the sporting that only cost me £2300 for the two years

so £6100 in petrol over two years. thats 3050 per year. I spend almost a 25% of my pay on petrol

I thrash my car quite a bit, its done 4k now should i change my oil and filter?

So, if you was me and you had a 1.2 16v that is thrashed fairly frequently, but not hard thrashing like you do to your car, when would u change the oil and filter?

better safe than sorry. changed roughly every 4500-5000 miles. aslo did plugs as well
