Just wondering if anyone could help, everytime i switch on my car now it makes a very loud engine noise then idles and is normal! it starting doin it a couple of times now its doing a fair bit!! sum said it could be the oil pick or sumthin like that not sure! i was thinkin it was sumthin to do with the drilled airbox!!! 
anyway its ok once it idles maybe its not a problem just dodgy soundin like a tractor even time i switch on my car! lol

no exhaust is fine! once im driving there is no noise! only when i first switch on the car! i think i need to reset the ecu i think!

try using heavier oil. it sounds like your tappets are a bit knocky!

thats what sum1 said! i think a few to many back roads is the cause of it! check the oil and its fine! i think i'll use a a heavier oil at the weekend to see if that works!

Get someone to stick there head under the bonnet when you start it next to see where the noise is coming from.

Oh, and ifs its when the engine is cold the oil will be thick anyway.

yip its when its cold! i mite stick back on the standard airbox and see if its that!
