i tried taking my old front seats out today so i could put my new ones in but one of the torx bolts is in really tight and i ended up rounding the head off it. we then tried drilling it out but this didnt work either. how can i get the bolt out now without damaging the thread in the hole?
also where can i get the new bolts from? is it only vauxhalls that sell them?

i had same problem when i did mine, ended up taking it out from underneath the car with a pair of grips and alot of patience, but we had to smash the head of the torques bolt off first which was a complete bitch mate, took me and a mate about half hour, wished i had an angle grinder.

im gonna take it to a garage so they can put it on the ramps and get it from underneath. it will deffinately come out then?
do you know where i can get the new bolts from?

Kiddies, dont forget to use nut lock on the screaws when refitting. The bluey powder on the screaw is nutlock.

Did you SHOCK the screaws? Are you using the correct tools??
