So folks i aint got a clue what to do here....
As far as i can see, my "diagnostic plug" is a 16 pin piece, although only 5 pins are being used.
Also cant see any LED or whatever to show the flash.
So, can anyone shed some light on what i'm doing here???

i know, i've checked through it, but it says to connect pins 5 and 6, but they dont both have contacts in my plug if u catch my drift.

i had the same problem with my 1.0, on ma new engine the ecu is separate but on the 1.0 its on the side of the engine. U can earth a wire from the actual ecu but its a sealed connector so wudnt advise ripping it too pieces, just go to a garage and get it done
