just bought one and the back of the unit gets really hot!!!!, also everytime i turn off the engine and remove the keys all of the preset stations/clock resets..bloody annoying, can anyone help me out

oh he did say something bout swapping the two power cables round but i thought i may turn my nice new head unit into a crisp so i didnt

you need to swap the two power cables for it to store the time & presets
yellow to red
red to yellow
