Given the way that the sizes have increased over the years (long gone are teh days when 16"s were the biggest for Corsas and 17"s were likle wow ), even those yankiee trucks are on 24" +. So the predicted for 2005 is?

yep i suppose 19's will be more common, but i think that more people wont do up corsas, as more cars are becoming cheaper with age that are better value

i reckon there has to be a limit. cars are getting bigger aswell, i mean, 15s on old cars few years ago, looked pretty big, but on todays cars they look tiny. Cars are getting bigger these days, i.e. bigger wheels are needed. but they will need to stop somewhere. there is a range rover coming out, ltd edition, with 20s std. and 14 speakers.

Most normal folk will probably stick to 17s/18s/19s...

I personally think 17's fill a normal kit nicely - if its widearch like bradfinch's car then 19's are needed as otherwise the wheels look tiny like corbs on 17's...

but anything over 19's is purely show cars only, no normal person will be getting 24's on a corsa it'll a) be too expensive and stupid looking and b) look so ghey! Tractor!

The 24's are only being put on big cars like the jeeps - on a hot hatch they'll look stupid.

dig up this post in 2005 to prove me wrong

yep, old skool style is definitely the way forward

these clowns in their 1.2 corsas make me laugh. they have no power whatsoever to start with and then they decide to make it worse. and as for not lowering it. tractor city baby. lol
