there is a 1990 2.3 20v (170bhp) with only 59k on it, going for 1900 over here, electric everything, fsh etc, manx car from new

my mate has got one in the dusky mauve (spelling) colour, with a full cream leather interior and 17's. i think it's a 2.0 quattro

went down for a wee squint around it, dunno if its a quattro as yet, didnt ask only looked around it
has a few probs which could be used as bargaining chips
its this colour
but it has a dodgy blue interior that im not too sure off!

im not getting it either, was talking to someone on the golf bb's who has one. running costs are ridiculous and most parts are dealer only, £500 for two exhaust boxes!!
i think ill settle for getting the golf its deserved respray
