Ive just moved my ice blue neons from my foot well and wired them into the fog lights in the left cluster, ive put it where my old brake light was.

Originally I was gonna wire em into the brake lights jap style but thought about the law etc (???).

So now i can switch em on and off without a daft switch on the dash but wondered if anyone else had wired em into brakes, how they look and how they control them (apart from never braking ?).

Regards

dont you need the fog lamps?
or do they come on when u turn neons on?
and in that case wont the police pull u over for having your fogs on?

Much eaier way of doing it, personally think thats a bodge job, why not just hide the switches somewhere where you can get to them easily but they aint seen.

How is it a botch job when the switch "is" activated "easily" and not "sticking out" like a flower stand in a petrol station ? Have I got my wires crossed here ......... ?

mate i think he is meaning because you need rear fogs to pass an mot, so if you have got this circuit running neons you now have no rear fogs? am i correct in thinking this?
if so it would be so much easier to hard wire them from something? i mean if u have an amp in the boot you could hard wire from either the power line or the remote? its not ina sense a bodge job but its not a full time solution if u want your neons there cos u should really be running rear fogs as well, i think he was just saying y are u running them from the fogs when it would be a very simple job to wire them in
