Recently, whilst searching the net for job oppertunities in the ICE industry, i found this, and was surprised, didn't know there was anything like this in the UK. Cheered me up a lot!! Especially as I can then study this, whilst I'm at college, training to become an Auto-Electrician.

Looks like you can study it at your own leisure though, I think. Not like a full time, go-to-college type affair.

so they send u stuff to study and u go do an exam after a year or whatever??

only trouble is you have to do a different course for ever different allarm they bring out. Its dam annoying, otherwise the CAT1 doesnt apply!!!

for security, its best to get VSIB approved anyway.
